International Women in Cyber Day was established in 2018 by Lisa Kearney, the CEO and founder of the Women CyberSecurity Society (WCS2), Canada’s first women-focused cybersecurity organization. The day was created to raise awareness of the challenges women face in the cybersecurity industry and to celebrate their achievements. Our mission is to advance women in cybersecurity and increase their representation in the industry. We are eager to connect with other women in the cybersecurity field to work together toward these goals.
