International Women in Cyber Day (IWCD) was founded to recognize, celebrate, and amplify the achievements of women in cybersecurity. This initiative is proudly led by the Women CyberSecurity Society (WCSS) and its founder, Lisa Kearney.
While we encourage individuals and organizations to engage with and celebrate IWCD, we ask that this be done respectfully and in alignment with our official guidelines to maintain the integrity and purpose of this movement.
✔ Allowed Usage:
✅ You may mention International Women in Cyber Day in your promotional materials when hosting an event that aligns with the mission of IWCD.
✅ Official partners and approved collaborators may use our logo with permission and in accordance with our branding guidelines.
✅ You may share, promote, and support IWCD through your organization’s platforms while giving proper credit to it's founder and founding organization.
❌ Prohibited Usage:
🚫 Misrepresenting IWCD as your own initiative or creating a separate website/events that imply ownership of the movement.
🚫 Using our name, logo, or branding without official authorization.
🚫 Modifying the logo or using it in a misleading context.
🚫 Creating variations of our name such as "Women in Cyber Day" in different languages or locations to claim it as your own or as an independent event.
Misappropriation of International Women in Cyber Day dilutes our message, impacts funding and partnership opportunities, and undermines the recognition of women in cybersecurity—which is the very reason this initiative exists.
By respecting our branding guidelines, you are helping to ensure that the hard work of women in cybersecurity gets the recognition it deserves.
If you’d like to officially partner with us to host an IWCD-branded event or use our logo, please reach out! We offer partnership opportunities that provide official branding assets, promotion, and recognition.
